But getting hydrogen from global production sites to end users at the lowest possible cost is key to the success of the clean economy. But to date, a key component of the clean hydrogen economy has been overlooked – large-scale transportation to get clean hydrogen from production sites to points of use. This is a crucial puzzle to solve, as the most favorable production locations are found in often remote, renewable-rich areas, whereas demand will likely be highest in heavily industrialized and densely populated areas.
