Many governments have set aggressive targets for the electrification of their countries’ car parks. Meeting these targets will prove a significant challenge. As EVs are still more expensive than their ICE counterparts and inflation forces many households to limit their budgets, one could raise the question if the expected economic downturn could harm and slow down the transition towards an EV-future.
