The automotive industry is undergoing massive structural change, in particular with the inevitable shift from internal combustion engines (ICE) to electric motors. But what do these changes mean at the coalface, for production structures at both manufacturers and suppliers? How can they best prepare for a structured transition? We analyze the impact of the shift to electric motors on automotive production and show some opportunities for vehicle manufacturers and suppliers.
